Path Manager example for First English

1) The PLACEMENT MANAGER forces you to take the PT
- You get a 0.0 on the Placement Test
- The PLACEMENT MANAGER places you in First English (FE) Unit 1

2) The PLACEMENT MANAGER forces you to take the FE Confirmation MT 1-2 (on which you are expected to do poorly)
- If you get a score under 85 as expected, go to Step-3
- If you get a score of 85 or higher the PLACEMENT MANAGER will put you in Unit 2 (go to Step 4)

3) You study Unit 1. When you get 50% complete on all lessons in Unit 1...
- The STUDY PATH MANAGER will open Unit 2
- The PROGRESS MANAGER will ask you to take a pre-test on MT 3-4 (on which you are expected to do poorly)

4) You study Units 1 and 2. When you get 50% complete on Unit 2...
- The STUDY PATH MANAGER will open Unit 3

5) You study Units 1, 2 and 3. When you get 80% complete on Units 1 and 2, the MT 1-2 will open
- if you get an 85 or higher on MT 1-2 and you finish 50% complete on Unit 3, then the STUDY PATH MANAGER will open Unit 4
- if you get lower than an 85, the MT 1-2 will re-open in 7 days
- if you get lower than an 85 again, the teacher will have to unlock MT1-2 by hand

6) You study Units 3 and 4. When you get 50% complete on Unit 4...
- The STUDY PATH MANAGER will open Unit 5 and EFS Unit 1

7) You study Units 3, 4 and 5. When you get 80% complete on Units 3 and 4, the MT 3-4 will open
- if you get an 85 or higher on MT 3-4 and you finish 50% complete on Unit 5, then the STUDY PATH MANAGER will open Unit 6
- if you get lower than an 85, the MT 3-4 will re-open in 7 days
- if you get lower than an 85 again, the teacher will have to unlock MT3-4 by hand

8) You study Units 5 and 6. When you get 50% complete on Unit 6...
- The STUDY PATH MANAGER will open Unit 7

9) You study Units 5, 6 and 7. When you get 80% complete on Units 5 and 6, the MT 5-6 will open
- if you get an 85 or higher on MT 5-6 and you get 50% complete on Unit 7, then the STUDY PATH MANAGER will open Unit 8
- if you get lower than an 85, the MT 5-6 will re-open in 7 days
- if you get lower than an 85 again, the teacher will have to unlock MT 5-6 by hand

10) You study Units 7 and 8. When you get 80% complete on Units 7 and 8, the MT 7-8 will open
- if you get lower than an 85, the MT 7-8 will re-open in 7 days
- if you get lower than an 85 again, the teacher will have to unlock MT 7-8 by hand
