DynEd Mobile for iOSThis guide provides help for users of MyDynEd App, mobile.dyned.com, and Conversations mobile apps.
- iOS Version: 6.0 or higher
- Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n
- Wi-Fi access point that supports 802.11n
- If you plan to install MyDynEd app or Conversations, please confirm that you have enough free space on your device:
- For MyDynEd App make sure you have 12 Mb of free space
- For Each of the Conversations apps make sure you have 24 Mb of free space
Running the apps:Before running any of these apps for the first time:
- Connect your device to your Wi-Fi network (Settings > Wi-Fi > Slide ON, Choose a Network.)
- If you have a cellular data plan, please turn it off (Settings > Cellular Data > Cellular Data > Slide OFF)
The apps are available in English.
Application Navigation: MyDynEd AppTap icon on screen to open MyDynEd App: opens the website
Tap the various tiles to open: opens the sections of the MyDynEd application
Site Menu allows user to:
- go Home
- Check/Change Settings
- Get Support
- See Server Status
- Open DynEd Applications
Application Navigation: mobile.dyned.com
Enter mobile.dyned.com in browser navigation bar: starts the application
Tap the various tiles to open: opens the sections of the mobile.dyned.com application
Site Menu: opens the tools and applications side menu
Back button (arrow): moves back one step in navigation
Application Navigation: Conversations
Sign in with email and password and tap Submit: starts the application
Tap a highlighted Unit: opens that unit to display the lessons
Tap a highlighted Lesson: opens that lesson
The user's data is synced with our Records Server on each log in and exit. If an Internet connection is not available or in Airplane Mode, you will not be able to sign in to Conversations Apps. Mobile.DynEd.com is web-based and requires an Internet connection to function.
The user's device must support geolocation or maps will not be available. Users must enable use of their current location. In the device Settings navigate to: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > MyDynEd > Slide ON
Invalid E-mail address or PasswordIf the message "User does not exist" appears:
- Check the spelling of the email address entered.
- If you have not used this App before, use the Sign Up button instead.
No Confirmation email appearsIf no confirmation email arrives within a few hours:
- Check your spam filtered emails.
- Make sure DynEd is in your list of accepted emails.
No sound on apps
You might have accidentally hit the mute button that is next to the volume control on the side of the device.
Device acting strangely...may need to Restart to clear the memory cache
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears. Slide the slider. Wait for a few seconds while your iPad shuts down. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. Slide to unlock and log into the App again.
