What third-party technologies are installed by DynEd?

INSTALLATION TECHNOLOGIES
Some components of each of these technologies are stored in your computer’s system directory, so you will need full access rights to your computer the first time it is installed.

Speech Recognition (SR)
This technology allows the student to make choices within the course using his/her voice rather than using the mouse. It encourages speaking practice. The technology is installed automatically from the Installation DVD for courses that use SR.

Quick Time®
Software developed by Apple Computers that allows us to integrate full-motion video and sound into our courses.

Acrobat Reader®
Software developed by Adobe Systems, Inc., allows users to access DynEd documentation such as User, Study, Installation, and Teacher Guides. The guides are stored in the DynEd\Doc directory.
