Updating using DynEd Installation DVD

The DynEd DVD should only be used for updating installations when there is no access to an internet connection.
If you have internet access you can run the UpToDate program.

• Confirm with your Sales Rep that you have the most recent version of the DynEd Installation DVD
• Run the Setup program on the new Installation DVD
• Select the appropriate type of installation and navigate to the "Installation Options" screen
• Confirm that the correct Installation Directory is selected
• Hold down the "Control key" and click on "Install"
• This should bring up a screen with the following message: "This installation Disc has more recent version of these courses. Would you like to update them now"
• Click "Yes" and wait for the files to copy
• Once the files are copied Click "Cancel" in the "Installation Options" screen
• Click "Exit" or quit the setup program.

Note: For networked installations, please first confirm that no one is running any DynEd applications, then run the DVD from a client computer, with administrator rights.
