Technical Support

This option allows teachers to force students to retake the Placement Test and reset their study path, regardless of time studied.

Once this option has been selected, you will see  a "(PT)" to the right of the student name (s). You can select any, a few, or all of the students in the class to retake the Placement Test.

This option could be used at the end of a class or grading period, when students are completing their use of DynEd and would like to take an "exit" Placement Test. Placement Tests should be re-taken only after approximately 45-55 study hours (35-45 hours for children using Let's Go and DynEd Kids).

Once the student takes the Placement Test,  the Path Manager function will reset the study path according to the new Placement Test level.

a. If the student receives a HIGHER score on the PT than the level where they have been studying, they will essentially jump ahead. For example, the next time they open NDE, the student will be asked to take the new, higher level Confirmation Mastery Test than they normally would as a reflection of their new PT level.

b. If the student (for some reason) gets a LOWER score on the PT than the level where they have been studying, their previous scores, Completion Percentage, etc., will still remain in their study records and should count towards what is required to continue making progress.

Note: To use this option the class must have the Path Manager enabled and you must enter the class with your Administrator Password.

Note: If you would like to undo the Forced PT please follow the instructions here: Remove Forced PT
