This option allows teachers to force students to re-take their most recent Mastery Test. This Mastery Test can be either:
• MT-1, which is the same MT they took when they entered DynEd –namely, the Confirmation Mastery Test (CMT). This becomes an MT-1 as soon as the student achieves the necessary Completion Percentage for it to unlock. Forcing this test to be unlocked may mean that the student didn’t pass it (<85 points) and is bypassing the number of days set up in the Class Information Screen (usually 7 days).
• It can also be an MT-2 for the same reason. MT-2 refers to the test that is taken before the student enters a new unit or set of units or modules if the Progress Manager is set up in the Class Information Screen.
How to set this option up:
• Teachers or administrators will need the Administrator Password to access the list of students
• The course menu will need to be set to “All Courses”
• Go to “Options” then “Force Student to Re-take Mastery Test”
• Select “All Students” or “Selected students” that are highlighted
• Click OK
When the selected students log in to DynEd, they will receive a message prompting them to take the specified Mastery Test.
